Cheese Cloth & Butter Makes Moist Turkey Meat

Saw this technique on the Food Network channel this morning and couldn’t believe how simple this was and why I’ve never seen it before? If you have seen this tip, let me know how it works out. I’m definitely trying it this year. To this Arizona girl, it looks like a sunscreen for turkeys. Tip: Dredge a large piece of cheese cloth into a cube of melted butter. Drape the turkey just before putting it into the oven. The cheese cloth slowly bastes the breast meat and keeps the top from getting dry and brittle. That’s it. Oh, and for those who may find this funny. “Remove cheese cloth before serving” lol
